Sunday Club

St. James' Sunday Club meet in the church centre on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays in the month during term-time.
Starting at 10:45am and finishing in the church at the end of the morning service.
We welcome children of all ages, from just born upwards.

The crèche, known as ‘Gems’ caters for babies and toddlers up to three years of age. There are three other groups for older children:

  • Pebbles (from age 3 years to school year ‘Reception’)
  • Rocks (school years 1, 2 and 3),
  • Boulders (school years 4, 5 and 6).

The bigger the stone, the older the group!
What do we hope to achieve at Sunday Club?
Well, we aim to make it enjoyable, fun, something the children will want to come to regularly.
We want them to feel that they ‘belong’ and are an important part of the church community.
And then we hope that through a mixture of teaching, activities, games and by example, they gain an understanding of Christianity, learn about the love of Christ, and begin to sow the seeds of their adult faith.

More infomation is available from the church office.

Contrast - Youth Group

For young people from Year-7 upwards. They meet on Sunday evenings in term time from 7pm until 8:30pm in the Church Centre.
