Who's Who
The Ministry team at St. James' is led by the Priest in Charge, the Reverend Dr Richard Warden, assisted by Rev. John Edwards and Dr. Keith Atton as a lay minister.

Priest in Charge: Priest in Charge: Richard was ordained in St Paul’s Cathedral in 1983 and then served as a Curate in the London Diocese at St Mary’s West Kensington. He then went on to spend 4 years in the Royal Army Chaplains’ Department as an Army Chaplain, serving in West Germany and Northern Ireland with the 3rd Batallion, The Royal Anglian Regiment, followed by a UK posting in Nuneaton, Warwickshire with The Junior Leaders’ Regiment, Royal Artillery. |

Assistant Priest: John was licensed to St James as Associate Priest in February 2006 after several years at St Mary and St John, California. He is married to Sue and has four adult children and three young grandchildren. He originally qualified as a chartered accountant and spent many years as a finance director in international engineering companies. Since ordination in 2001 he has worked half-time for the church and half-time as a trustee of various occupational pension schemes and charities. He is Associate Clergy Officer for the Archdeaconry of Berkshire, on the Diocese of Oxford Board for Stewardship, Training, Evangelism and Ministry, and a member of Sonning Deanery Standing and Pastoral Committees. |
